Greetings from KR Bluegrass Band -

We are a Southeastern Wisconsin Bluegrass Band, and are writing to invite your company to be a sponsor of a Bluegrass music festival, the "Bluegrass Sampler". A two-day indoor Bluegrass Music Festival to be held at the Beautiful Delta Marriott Hotel in Racine, Wisconsin on November 3 & 4, 2023.

After attending several similar events in Southern Illinois, we just had to bring the experience of traditional bluegrass music to Southeastern Wisconsin. Our 2021 festival was a great success, and we look forward to an even better event this year. This is a family friendly, wholesome festival that promotes the authentic bluegrass sound while supporting two worthy nonprofit organizations, HALO, Racine, WI and Veteran’s Honor flight. HALO (Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization) supports its residents toward self-sufficiency and successful transition into their community, Veteran’s Honor Flights, recognizes veterans for their sacrifices for our country. Proceeds, after financial obligations, will go to these two organizations.

A little background about us... we are members of “KR Bluegrass Band” We have been together for 12 plus years, playing many local and regional festivals, county fairs, and other events. We know what a good festival looks like. We have hosted a twice monthly bluegrass jam for the past 13 years in addition, 2 small bluegrass Samplers (4 bands in one evening) per year for the past 5 years (except 2020).

Bluegrass Sampler 2022 is the biggest thing we have done yet! We have hired 9 area, regional and national bluegrass bands. Concerts will be Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. There will be breakout rooms for beginner musicians to play with experienced bluegrass musicians. Ticket sales are going well and we expect a better turnout than last year.
